How Sweet It Is to Learn with You!
As part of the Jewish Community Foundation’s learning agenda, we are pleased to offer the first of a series informal virtual gatherings to learn more about local agencies, other Jewish organizations, non profits, and community needs. During these mini events, you will get to build relationships with leaders of impactful work across the Greater Washington community, ranging from partner agencies of the Jewish Federation of Greater Washington, to small community-led initiatives.
GatherDC is a place that encourages young professionals who are new to DC, NoVa and Maryland to connect with their Jewish identities and build community. Join the Jewish Community Foundation and GatherDC to experience a taste of their signature High Holiday Deep Dive.
The High Holidays ask us to consider enormous questions about ourselves and our lives. Where and who have we been? As the calendar changes to a new year, where do we want to go next, and how do we get there?
During this mini workshop you will have a chance to engage in meaningful learning anchored in Jewish texts and values as we prepare for the high holiday season and the year ahead.
The workshop will be led by GatherDC’s Managing Director, Alexandra Tureau Meyer.
